About Us

Blazing Star Chapter Rose Croix No 759 was consecrated on 21st June 1974. We meet twice a year on the 4th Saturday in January and the 1st Saturday in June. (June meeting is our installation) We meet at the Wrotham Masonic Centre, St Marys Road, Wrotham, Kent, TN15 7AN.

We always provide a warm welcome to visitors to the Chapter and welcome applications to join from Master Masons of 12 months standing. Members must profess a belief in the Trinitarian, Christian faith. (There is no requirement to belong to any other order).

The first three degrees of the Order are deemed to be equivalent to the three degrees of Craft Masonry. The Intermediate Degrees, from the 4th to the 17th inclusive, continue the teaching of symbolic masonry and are conferred by name immediately before the 18th degree ceremony commences.

The ceremony of Perfection requires the use of three different rooms, or the same room dramatically changed in appearance three times. The VSL is the Holy Bible. The ritual is metaphorically based on the first verse of St John’s Gospel (at which the Bible is open for most of the time) relating to the principles of Christianity.
